We’re always on the look out for artisanal, well-made-in-China products, and one of our favourite discoveries of the past few months has been Tu Textiles, a Beijing based design studio producing gorgeous China-inspired prints on eco-friendly fabrics. In fact their cushions are so lovely, you’ll be able to spot them in the bedrooms at the soon-to-open Temple Hotel any day now. Confirmation of their quality if ever we heard it.

Introducing our On Business package!
How hard can it be? All you have to remember to do is present your business cards with both hands, eat whatever’s put in front of you and never cause anyone to ‘lose face’. Oh and then there’s the getting around thing. And not being able to speak the language…
For those who don’t have time to waste (and who like it when things run smoothly) we’ve created ‘On Business’, a customizable Beijing business package that includes two airport transfers, three-day’s worth of car hire and a local cellphone preprogrammed with useful numbers – all for under 600USD (3,740RMB).
Gung Ho Pizza Fruit Salad: Well done us
Too many dumplings (and a strong adversity to exercise in -9°C) means we here at Bespoke Beijing don’t feel the healthiest at this time of year. The answer? Ordering a Gung Ho Pizza fruit salad and pretending the coconut dressing that comes with it is ‘low fat yoghurt’. Makes us feel much better. Thanks Gung Ho.
