Some things happen so rarely that when they do, they’re worth getting a little excited about. A blood moon for example. Or the Olympics coming to your city…or the chance to spend a whole evening with the author of your favorite book.
That’s why we’re very happy to announce that for the first time since 2013, Paul French – author of The New York Times bestselling murder mystery Midnight in Peking – will return to Beijing to personally lead three walking tours for us based on his book.
A Bespoke and Penguin Books exclusive (and part of the 2018 Bookworm International Literary Festival), these special editions of the Official Midnight in Peking Walking Tour will be led by both Paul French and historian Lars Ulrik Thom, whose exemplary research has added even more layers to the already shocking story of Pamela Werner’s death.
Even more exciting is that those lucky enough to clinch tickets to the first event will then get to sit down to a fabulous 4-course meal and wine pairing at the historic NUO Hotel with the pair, before being given an exclusive signed copy of French’s brand new book, City of Devils.
Only three of these tours will take place before French returns home to London. So what are you waiting for?
