Our first ‘do it yourself’ tour: take part any day, any time, but be part of something bigger!
Like Christmas morning when you’re 8, or the end of a global pandemic when you’re, well, anyone – the best things in life seem to be a long time coming.
After almost three months of work, we are pleased as punch to announce the launch of Bespoke’s very exciting, very grand, very epic… Beihai Park Scavenger Hunt!
Our first ‘do-it-yourself’ tour comes in the form of a stylish booklet that will guide you through the capital’s oldest park, challenging you to find the answers to clues as you go, and slowly revealing Beihai’s incredible thousand-year history, hidden corners, and biggest secrets!
So whether you’re a family looking for something fun to do together; a group of friends keen to compete with each other for all out glory; or a couple wanting to uncover some of Beijing’s hidden gems – it’s the perfect day out. And given the current situation, it’s also the best ‘social distancing’ activity you could ask for. No lines, no crowds, no risk – just you and your gang free to roam around Beihai’s 70 hectares of spectacular scenery.
The best part? We’re inviting you to compete against everyone else in the city for the highest score. Not only will you get the chance to be added to Bespoke’s online leader board, but you’ll also be in with the chance to win a staycation at The Opposite House – our grand prize!

And finally, thank you!
Some things that are easier than running a travel company during a global pandemic:
- Riding a Mobike along the Great Wall
- Knowing the appropriate way to discharge a sneeze while wearing a face mask in public
- Beating a Chinese grandma at mahjong
- Starting a Zoom call without saying ‘can you hear me?’ five times first
- Eating noodles with a single chopstick
In short, it’s not an easy job at the moment, so when you buy a Scavenger Hunt booklet, or get a group of friends together to take part, or share details of it with others, you’re helping us out more than you know. We’re proud to have teamed up with one of our absolute favourites for this project – The Opposite House – and together, along with the venues that have kindly contributed to our voucher booklet, we hope you’ll continue to support local businesses.
From the bottom of our hearts here at Bespoke, thank you! Now, go buy it!
